What AreThe Precautions For Lathe Machining Metal Stamping Parts?
(1) Before starting work, it is essential to wear work clothes that are not too loose. The collar, cuffs, and hem should have a certain degree of tightness. It is necessary to wear a work cap, and for employees with long hair, their hair must be pressed into the cap and must not be exposed. Wear protective shoes and never wear gloves when operating the lathe.
(2) Before running the lathe, it is necessary to lubricate the machine tool by filling the oil hole with oil, check whether the moving parts and various switches of the machine tool are safe and reliable, and check whether the clamping of the tools and workpieces is secure. Workpieces, fixtures, measuring tools, and other objects are not allowed to be stacked on the bed surface.
(3) After the lathe is running, generally stand on the right side of the lathe, and the head should not be too close to the workpiece. If necessary, wear protective glasses. To prevent chips from injuring people.
(4) When in a parked state or when the spindle gear is in a disengaged position, clamp the workpiece. After clamping the workpiece, the chuck wrench should be removed in a timely manner to avoid injury.
(5) The workpiece and cutting tool must be securely clamped together, otherwise they may fly out and injure people.
Lathe machining
(6) During automatic feeding, it is strictly prohibited for the bed saddle or middle drag plate to exceed the limit position, in order to prevent personal and equipment safety accidents caused by the sliding plate falling off or colliding with the chuck.
(7) When working, one must concentrate and not leave the machine without permission. When necessary, the power must be turned off. During work, the operator's head, hands, and body parts should not be too close to the rotating machinery.
(8) When the lathe is running, changing the spindle speed must be done after the lathe has stopped; Changing the position of the feed box handle should be done at low speeds; Do not operate by touching rotating workpieces with hands and measuring rotating workpieces with measuring tools; Do not manually pull the chips during operation, use a dedicated hook to remove the chips.
(9) If any abnormal situation occurs during work, the lathe power should be immediately turned off and the fault should be eliminated before continuing operation.
(10) When the lathe stops, the workpiece will continue to rotate due to inertia, and it is not allowed to brake the rotating workpiece or chuck by hand.
(11) After the machining work is completed, the lathe power should be turned off first, then the chips should be removed, the machine tool should be cleaned, oil and lubrication should be added, and the large drag plate should be shaken to the rear end of the lathe. Maintain a neat and clean working environment.
