1.Rough machining before CNC system precision machining
The precision of CNC machining gradually improves in the order of rough turning, semi precision turning, and precision turning. Rough turning will quickly cut off most of the machining allowance on the surface of the workpiece. In this way, on the one hand, it can improve the metal removal rate, and on the other hand, it can meet the requirements of uniformity of precision machining allowance. If the uniformity of the surplus after rough turning cannot meet the requirements of fine turning, semi fine turning is needed to prepare for fine turning. Precision turning must ensure machining accuracy and cut the contour of the part according to the dimensions on the drawing.
2.CNC machining distance
Usually, the parts near the tool setting point are processed first, and then the parts far away from the tool setting point are processed to shorten the tool movement distance and reduce idle walking time. When turning, it is beneficial to maintain the rigidity of the blank or semi-finished product, improve its cutting conditions first, and then move away.
3.The principle of internal and external intersection in CNC machining
For parts that have both inner and outer surfaces for processing, when arranging the processing sequence, the inner and outer surfaces should be roughened first, and then the inner and outer surfaces should be precision machined. Before processing other surfaces (inner or outer), the surface of the part (outer or inner) must not be machined.
