What is The Difference Between CNC Machining and Die-Casting For The Aluminum Parts?

People who have been exposed to aluminum parts processing will understand that there are two processing techniques in the manufacturing industry, namely CNC machining and die-casting ,both of which are technologies for processing raw materials into expected products. Different models of products have different requirements for aluminum parts. It is mainly reflected in appearance and specification requirements. Do you want to know the difference between CNC machining and die-casting machining of aluminum shells?

Different processing methods for CNC machining and die-casting of aluminum shells:

The CNC machining of aluminum shells refers to precision machining under computer numerical control. Under this processing technology, aluminum shells can achieve some very special and complex surface treatments, such as oblique cutting, non penetrating pattern or texture carving, punching at aluminum shell bends, non planar surface treatment, etc. It can be said that even the most demanding and difficult details can be completed under numerical control processing. For manufacturers who have personalized and very high requirements for aluminum shell processing and customization, the application of this technology is usually inevitable.

Die casting technology refers to the use of the inner cavity of a mold to apply high pressure to molten metal, forming a surface effect similar to that of the mold. Some simple stamping and pattern formation can be carried out under the die-casting process. Compared to CNC machining, it has lower costs but cannot perform very complex surface treatments.
